The human right is also known as IACHR. Another acronym for human right in French, Spanish and Portuguese language is CIDH. It is actually an autonomous body of the OAS or the Organization of American States.

It is also one of the organs that includes the inter American system for the promotion as well as protection of human rights.

The IACHR is also a permanent body that has its’ head quarters situated in Washington, DC, United States. It strictly holds a meeting regularly and also meets in specialized sessions many times over a period of twelve months in order to analyze any violations in the human rights.

The human rights duties of the IACHR rose from the three varied documents mentioned below:

1. The American convention human rights.
2. The OAS charter
3. The American Declaration of the Rights and Duties of Man.

The history of Inter-American system dates to 1948 in the month of April when the IACHR started with the American Declaration of the Rights and Duties of Man. This was known to be the first instrument of its kind under the category of the International human rights.

The IACHR was formally established in 1959. The first meeting was held in the year 1960. Thereafter, the first onsite visit was conducted in 1961 in order to analyze the situation of human rights in a Dominican Republic and OAS member state.

In 1965, a significant step was taken in order to develop the whole system and the commission was duly given authority to analyze certain human rights violating cases. Thereafter, the IACHR received more than thousands of petitions and also processed more than twelve thousand different cases.

In 1969, there were some modifications in the American Declaration guiding principles. These principles were also restated in the American Convention on Human Rights. The convention actually provides definition on the Human rights that states various parties to guarantee and respect the court of Human Rights.

There are several functions of the Inter American commission as mentioned below:

1. It requires to analyze, receive and investigate petitions that alleges certain human rights violation. The human rights are actually protected by the American convention on Human rights.

2. It needs to monitor the situation in the member states of OAS. When required, it also prepares and publishes human rights reports.

3. On site visits are also required to be conducted in order to analyze the situation of general human rights of the members.

4. Promotes awareness of the public regarding human rights and associated issues across the globe.

5. Focuses on holding conferences, meetings, seminars with governments, academic institutions and NGO’s in order to promote awareness related to issues associated to the Inter American human rights system.

6. Requests stating adoption of precautionary measures in order to prevent any serious violation of human rights.

7. Refers cases to the Inter-American human rights.

The concept of Human rights came in to existence in the year 1948 with the Universal declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). The main motto of establishing Human Rights was to provide a significant stricture for a code world wide with mutual agreement.

However, the following and consent of the Human Rights code and rules were not as easy as the establishment. The United Nations have to under go a lot while betting the whole Human Rights concept accepted universally.

First, the initial period of the United Nations was subdued by the effect of the famous bifurcation of communist and western ideas related to the Human Rights. Both the sides promote the actual Universality idea of Human Rights.

The main debate was focused primarily on the specific rights to be give importance in conjunction with many of the Universal instrument. Political, social and economic rights were among the prime focus of the debate.

With the introduction of these third world states, there were a lot of debates on the fact whether the third world states require to abide by the covenants adopted prior to these states achieved independence and joined hands with the United States.

Fortunately there was a consensus on Human Rights Universality. However, there was a hurdle in this new concept that came in to existence in the year 1979.This was a period of ‘cultural relativism’ that resulted in the Iran’s famous Islamic revolution.

The most important part of the discussion included the importance of allowing national legislation come in to an agreement with the standards of universal Human Rights known as the ‘international Bill of Human Rights’ that included UDHR, the covenant on civil and political Rights, the international covenant of Economic and the Social and cultural Rights. Most state that did not come in to conformity with the Human Rights standards made some modifications in their legislation.

However, the only problem with such liberation acts is that these can be easily become null and void via any deliberate attempt made to raise confusion with the universal issues revolving around Human Rights.

One of the best examples of this can be seen in UNESCO proclaimed ‘Universal Islamic Declaration of Human Rights’ in the year 1981 and thereafter the ‘Cairo Declamation of Human Right’ in 1990. This was declared by the 19th Islamic Conference foreign ministers form the forty five OIC countries.

Thereafter there were a lot of other declarations as mentioned below:

1. The Human Rights secular interpretation of the Judeo Christian tradition in 1981 not to be implemented by Muslims
2. The compilation of international instruments in 1998
3. Seminar on Islamic perspectives on UDHR in 1998.

When it comes to the global relations and perspective, the issues related to Human Rights are interpreted as the moral and religions issues.

Who doesn’t want a peaceful planet to live on? Of course, all of us do. However, what’s happening around us affect our mind deeply.

Be it the unforgettable and bloodcurdling blasts on the World Trade Tower, the wars being integral part of Iraq and Israel or the series of bomb blasts and religious fights in most of the Asian Countries, human race is in constant threat.

World peace is the main agenda today. With so much of advancement happening in the technology around us, why should we be left behind when it comes to saving human race from being a victim of violence existing worldwide.

What is peace? It can be referred to as pure absence of any amount of conflict, hostility and violence across the globe. Fortunately, several efforts are being made to exterminate all these vices from the planet. Many organizations have been formed to dedicate their services in this regard.

‘World peace’ is a similar organization. It can also be referred to as the Utopian ideal of planet wide non-violence. Nations cooperate with this cause willingly, voluntarily or due to a system governing the issues related to welfare.

Today, most of the countries across the globe including the United States, China, Germany, Italy and many European and African Countries agree to globalization and believe that it would result in a well-balanced world order.

World peace has a cause and it is to result into extermination of violence around the world. It believes that law enforcement cannot bring desired results because any force usually crop up as a conflict. Lack of law enforcement would mean nonexistence of governments that depend on violent threats to rule their citizens, collect taxes or maintain borders. Now, here, it means that world peace looks beyond the end of welfare existing between nations. It is dedicated to bring dramatic changes in the political institutions worldwide.

World peace is possible but, many families believe that achieving anything near to it is simply impossible. There are several theories proposed by the World peace to achieve desired results. Some of these include the following:

1. The democratic peace theory:

With most of the nations becoming democratic, a world peace is a possible mission to achieve provided the democratic peace theory is correct.

2. Cobdenism:

Here, the emphasis is given on removing tariffs completely and developing free international trades. This will make most of the nations self-sufficient and rule out the necessity of wars.

3. Mutual assured destruction:

Here, the focus is on a full-scale utilization of nuclear weapons by two of the opponent nations resulting in the destruction of both the nations.
